In this tutorial, we will show you how to activate the reserve button on Facebook and Instagram.
Step-by-step instructions
Activating Reservations on Facebook and Instagram:
- To access reservation settings, navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu and select Reservations.
- The, click on Activate now under the Reserve with Facebook section and a pop-up will appear with further instructions.
- Click Activate now to proceed.
- You will be redirected to Facebook. Log in or register with your business account.
- Confirm your account by clicking Continue as [your account].
- You’ll be prompted with more information about how your data will be used. Click Continue to connect Mozrest to Facebook.
- An overview of the accounts to be connected will be displayed. Click Continue.
- Select the Facebook Page you want to enable the reserve button for, then click Continue.
- Next, select the Instagram profile you want to connect and click Continue.
- Select an ad account for the Facebook Page to advertise your products and services, then click Continue.
- Choose a Meta Pixel for the Facebook Page, then click Continue.
- Review the summary of selected accounts, then click Continue.
- Allow Mozrest to connect Facebook and Instagram with DISH Reservation by clicking Next.
To Complete the Linking Process, follow the instructions:
- The linking process will start; this may take a few moments.
- Once complete, click Done.
- You will receive a confirmation message that the Meta Connection was successful. Close the page.
- Return to DISH Reservation and click Finish setup.
- The Reserve with Facebook button is now enabled, and reservations through Instagram will work if your profile is connected.
- The reservation option will now appear on your Facebook Page and Instagram profile as shown.
