    🔧 Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Open Settings

From the home screen of your Dish Pay Now device, locate the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner and tap it to access device settings.

This icon represents the system settings of your device.

Step 2: Go to Security & Privacy

Once inside the settings menu, scroll until you find the option labeled "Security & privacy". Tap on it to proceed.

This section manages your device’s lock screen, permissions, and app security.

Step 3: Tap on “Device unlock”

In the "Security & privacy" menu, find and tap on the "Device unlock" option.

This is where you can view and modify the current screen lock method.

Step 4: Access Current Screen Lock Settings

On the next screen, you’ll see your current screen lock type displayed—likely listed as "PIN".
Tap on the “Screen lock – PIN” entry to proceed.

You may be asked to enter your current PIN at this point to continue.

Step 5: Select “None” as New Lock Option

On the “Choose a new screen lock” screen, several lock options will appear:

Tap “None” to remove the current PIN protection.

This will disable any lock screen protection and allow direct access to the device.

    Step 6: Confirm PIN Removal

A confirmation message will appear saying:

“Delete screen lock? A PIN protects your phone if it’s lost or stolen.”

Tap on “Delete” to confirm your decision.

Step 7: Verify Lock Has Been Removed

After deletion, you will return to the Device unlock screen. You should now see the status:

    Screen lock – None

This confirms that the PIN has been successfully removed.

    âś… Final Check

No PIN will be required when starting or unlocking the device.

You can always re-enable a PIN or other lock method at any time by revisiting the same menu.
