How do I set up and change menu items?

We show you how to set up menu items in DISH Order.

In this article, we are going to show you how to create new menu items and edit existing ones.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. The first step consists in clicking on KITCHEN in the DISH Order dashboard.
  2. Then, click on Menu Items.
  3. To edit your desired menu item, click on the pencil icon.
  4. Under the Menu tab, you can edit general information about the menu items such as name, price, description, category, VAT Group etc.
  5. Under the Option tab, you can add and edit options to your menu item e.g. pizza toppings.
  6. Under the Specials tab, you can add or edit a discount to your menu item. You can choose between fixed amount or percentage.
  7. Under the Allergens and additives tab, you can add or edit menu item information including allergens and additives.
  8. Under the Legal information tab, you can add or edit legal information including Unit price, Additional Info and Deposit.
