DISH POS Printer Common issues and Troubleshooting
Table of Contents
This guide aims to help you identify and resolve common DISH POS Printer issues (for EPSON and DURAPOS printer models)
EPSON TM Series
Issue: Printer does not print
Step 1: Check the LED indicators
-
No LED lights on
The printer is not powered.
Check:- Power cable connection
- Power adapter
- Wall outlet or power strip
If all are working and the printer still doesn't power on, the printer might be defective.
In this case please open a ticket with Supply Chain / 2nd Level Support for a device exchange.
-
Power LED is ON but Network LED is OFF
This indicates a network connection issue.
Check:
- Network (LAN) cable connection
- Cable connectors
- Switch on router the printer is connected to
Issue: Paper feeds, but nothing is printed (Blank Paper)
Step 1: Check the Paper Roll
Make sure:
- The paper roll is inserted correctly (thermal side facing the print head)
- You're using compatible thermal paper
If correctly inserted and paper is compatible but issue persists: the thermal print head may be damaged and the printer needs to be replaced.
DURAPOS Printers
Issue: Printer does not print
Step 1: Check the LED indicators
- No LED lights on, means that the printer is not receiving power.
- Check:
- Power cable
- Power adapter
- Power outlet
If all are functional and printer is still off: the device is likely defective. Please open a ticket with Supply Chain / 2nd Level Support for exchange.
Applicable to All Printers
Issue: Print format is incorrect (e.g., margins, spacing)
