What is the AI Phone Assistant?
The AI Phone Assistant is a powerful add-on for DISH Professional Reservation and DISH Premium customers. It ensures that you never miss a reservation again by answering calls on your behalf and automatically creating reservations in your DISH Reservation system. This service is provided in partnership with our trusted third-party provider, Assistant AI.
How does it work?
When you're unable to answer the phone, whether you're busy with guests or the restaurant is closed, the AI Phone Assistant steps in. It intelligently handles incoming calls, takes down reservation details, and seamlessly creates a new reservation in your DISH account.
During the setup process, you'll receive a dedicated phone number that you can forward your main restaurant line to. This gives you full control over when the assistant takes over.
Availability
The AI Phone Assistant is currently available as a pilot program in Germany and Austria for all customers with a DISH Professional Reservation or DISH Premium subscription.
Pricing and Billing
The pricing for the AI Phone Assistant is straightforward and split into two parts:
- Activation: €99.00 (Assistant AI)
- Monthly fee: €9.90 (DISH)
- Commitment: Can be canceled monthly

Please Note: You will have two separate contracts:
- One with DISH for the add-on subscription.
- A second one with Assistant AI for the usage-based call billing.
If you decide to cancel the service, you must cancel both contracts separately.
How to Get Started
Sales and Activation
You can easily add the AI Phone Assistant to your subscription through the self-purchase flow in your DISH account or by contacting our sales team.
Once you've purchased the add-on, Assistant AI will be automatically notified and will reach out to you directly to begin the onboarding process.
Onboarding and Settings
The entire onboarding, including your account and login setup, is handled by Assistant AI. All settings and customizations for the phone assistant are managed in your personal Assistant AI portal. There are no additional settings to configure within your DISH account.
Current Limitations
We are continuously working with our partner to improve the service. However, please be aware of the following limitations:
- Reservations requiring a credit card guarantee (for No-Show protection) cannot be processed.
- Reservations that would become a reservation request cannot be accepted.
- Modifying existing reservations via the AI is not yet possible.
In all of these cases, the call will be automatically forwarded to your restaurant.
