Basic manual: DISH POS Lite Backoffice

Log in to DISHcloud (Backoffice)

You log in by opening an internet browser on your PC or laptop and going to the website germany.myplace.dish.co. You will now see the login page. Enter your email address and password to log in.

 

Dashboard:

As soon as you are logged in, you will see the dashboard. Here you will find the current revenue and a comparison with the previous week. The main menu is located on the left. You can expand this further in various places by clicking on the icons.

Edit product:

Click on the submenu [Products]. You will now see a overview of the products in alphabetical order. Scroll to the product you want to modify. At the top, you can use the search functions to find a specific product or to make only a certain product group visible. 

 

To modify the item, click the pencil icon next to the item. In the circled area, you can adjust the name, price, and product group. The product group also determines the turnover group for your records. Click [Save] in the bottom right to save your changes and return to the overview of your products.

 

Sending POS data:

To send all changes to the POS miniserver, go to the [General] submenu. Click the [Send] button in the top right. You must do this every time you make changes in the POS software. Once the sending is complete, it may take approximately 15 minutes for the changes to appear on the POSapp.

 

 

 

Creating a new product:

Click on the [Products] submenu. In the top right, you can click on [+ Add Product]. Fill in the required fields: name, item group, price, and VAT. Click the [Save] button in the bottom right. Another way is to click on the copy icon at the front of an existing product. You then only need to adjust the name and the price. The final step is to add the new product to the menu.

 

 

Menu:

To add products from the product overview to the POS menu, go to the [Menus] tab. Click on the menu in the first column. In the middle column, you can (temporarily) remove or add items to the menu. You can also change the order of products and groups on the POS using Drag & Drop. Remember to send the changes to the POS miniserver as soon as you have made any changes.

 

 

Change product group:

Click on the submenu [Products]. You will now see a overview of the products in alphabetical order. Scroll to the product you want to modify. At the top, you can use the search functions to find a specific product or to make only a certain product group visible.

Create/modify user:

Go to the [Users] submenu. Click the pencil icon to modify a user or click [+ Add User]. The yellow highlighted fields are mandatory. The PIN code is the user‘s login code for the POS and must be unique. Ensure that a user group has been added. This determines the user‘s rights.

 

Finance:

Here you will find the reports and can export your revenue.[Shift Report] always displays data for a single day. Under [Shift Reports], you can select different periods.
