How to manually create a reservation requiring a credit card guarantee?

You can create reservations manually and request a credit card guarantee from your guests.

 

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Log in to your DISH Reservation account.
  2. Go to Reservations → Create new reservation.
  3. Enter the guest’s details (name, date, time, participants, etc.).
  4. Decide if a credit card guarantee is required:

If yes:

  • The guest receives an email with a secure link.
  • The reservation remains in pending until card details are provided.
  • Once details are added, the reservation is confirmed automatically and a confirmation email is sent.

If no: The reservation is confirmed immediately.

  1. Confirm the reservation entry by clicking on Save.

✅ Exceptions:

  • You can choose not to require a card guarantee, even if your settings normally would.
  • You cannot request a card guarantee for series reservations.
