Registering DISH Pay Terminals with the Agenzia delle Entrate Portal |Italian Revenue Agency Portal

As of January 1, 2026, Italian law requires every merchant who accepts electronic payments to associate each payment terminal with the corresponding cash register.

This manual explains how restaurant merchants can link their DISH PAY terminals to their electronic cash register (registratore telematico) via the Italian Revenue Agency (“Agenzia delle Entrate”) portal.

This integration ensures that card and digital payments are automatically matched with daily sales data. Failure to comply can result in sanctions.

Key Requirements: Merchants will need their login credentials for the “Fatture e Corrispettivi” reserved area of the Agenzia delle Entrate portal (SPID, CNS, CIE or Entratel/Fisconline). They also need the technical ID of each DISH terminal to be registered:

DISH PAY Classic (e.g. V400 series): the Device Serial Number, printed on the back of the terminal and visible in its admin menu. Find details here: support.dish.co.

DISH PAY Tap-to-Pay (Sunmi L2s Pro) and DISH PAY Now (Android devices): the SDK Installation ID, found in the device or app settings (often under “About Device” or a similar menu).

Below are detailed, step-by-step instructions:

1. Access the Agenzia Entrate Portal

Open the Fatture e Corrispettivi portal. Go to the Agenzia delle Entrate website and click “Area Riservata – Fatture e Corrispettivi” (Invoices & Receipts reserved area).

Log in with your credentials. Authenticate using SPID, CNS, CIE or Entratel/Fisconline. This gives you access to the “Fatture e Corrispettivi” dashboard.

Tip: If you have multiple roles or companies, make sure to select the correct VAT account for your restaurant.

Navigate to the “Corrispettivi” section. Once logged in, look for the Corrispettivi (Daily Receipts) menu. Under this section, select “Gestisci Collegamenti” (Manage Links). This is the dedicated web service for linking payment devices to cash registers.

Select the cash register. In the “Gestisci Collegamenti” interface, you will see a list of the registratori telematici (cash registers) already registered under your account. Click on the cash register you use in your restaurant (or the relevant “unità locale”) to begin pairing.

If you only have one cash register, it will be pre-selected.

If multiple registers are shown, confirm the correct one by checking the location or identifier.

2. Registering DISH PAY Classic Terminals

For DISH PAY Classic (the tabletop or wireless card terminals, e.g. V400c/V400m/V400c Plus), follow these steps:

Find the Terminal Serial Number:

Look on the back of the terminal. You will find a label with “S/N” followed by a number (e.g. 123-456-789). You can also power on the terminal, go to Settings > Device Info, and note the serial number displayed there.

See an example of the Serial No. label here:

Enter the Serial Number in the Portal:
In the “Gestisci Collegamenti” screen, choose the option to associate a new POS device. Enter the Serial Number exactly as shown on the device.

Save or Confirm: After entering the serial number, confirm the association. The portal will link this terminal to the selected cash register. The screen may display confirmation or automatically list associated payment instruments (from payment service providers) once saved.

3. Registering DISH PAY Tap-to-Pay and DISH PAY Now Terminals

For Tap-to-Pay  and DISH PAY Now Android devices, the process is similar, except you supply the SDK Installation ID.

Find the SDK Installation ID:

DISH PAY Tap-to-Pay Terminals:

  1. Open the DISH POS App
  2. On the lock screen (where you enter the login code) click on the “Settings” on the top left
  3. Scroll completely down to "Other" and click on “Over DISH"
  4. The “Adyen SDK install id” is displayed at the bottom of the pop-up window.

See here below an example. Please ensure to use your individual SDK install id, it may be longer than in this example:

DISH PAY Now Terminals:

  1. Open the DISH PAY App
  2. Ensure you're logged in
  3. Click on the menu bottom on top left
  4. Click on the “About” section on the bottom
  5. The “Adyen Installation ID” is displayed at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Enter the Installation ID in the Portal:
Back in the “Gestisci Collegamenti” portal, select the cash register as before and choose to add a new payment device. Enter the Installation ID obtained above.

Save or Confirm: Complete the process to link the terminal. The portal will record the association.

Note: Sometimes the portal may label this identifier differently (e.g. “POS code” or similar). Be sure to input the exact code from the device. If linking fails, double-check you used the correct ID.

4. Verify Registration and Deadlines

Once saved, the portal will list the newly linked terminal under the cash register’s devices. You should see the terminal’s ID and link date.

Compliance Deadlines: The law will become effective by Jan 1, 2026. All the terminals active by then must be registered once the Italian Revenue Agency Portal is active. To manage the registration, the law gives a 45-day grace period from the activation of the online service (e.g. if the service opened on March 5, 2026, your registration is due by April 19). For terminals activated after the go-live of the portal, you must latest register them at the 6th day of the second month following terminal activation. For example, a payment terminal was activated on 15th May 2026, it must latest be registered at 6th of July.

Warning: Keep these deadlines in mind. Missing them can trigger penalties. The portal itself will not link a terminal until you submit its ID, so plan this step promptly after terminal setup.

After linking, your DISH PAY terminals are legally associated with your cash register, satisfying the 2026 regulatory requirement. Each time you add or replace a terminal (or change a cash register), repeat this process. Always retain records or screenshots of successful registrations in case of future audits.
