How to manage and charge No-Shows?

Once the No-Show Card Guarantee add-on is set up, you can mark missed reservations as no-shows and charge the defined fee.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Mark a reservation as No-Show
- Log in to your DISH Reservation account.
- Go to the Reservation Dashboard.
- Locate the reservation.
- Click Mark as No Show.
You can only mark a reservation as a no-show 15 minutes after the reservation start time.

2. Review the No-Show Overview
- Open the No-Show Overview from the navigation menu.
- Review the list of reservations:
- Reservations where a fee can still be charged
- Reservations where the fee has already been charged
Reservation where charging the No show fee cannot be charged by using Reservation tool anymore are not shown in the overview
- Select a reservation that qualifies for charging.
- Click Charge Fee.
- Confirm the action → The fee will be collected from the guest’s credit card.

3. Check Reservation Overview & Details
- All card-guaranteed reservations are displayed in the Reservation Overview.
- Reservations with card guarantee are marked with a card icon.

- Cancelled reservations remain visible but are greyed out, regardless of whether a no-show fee can be charged. They carry an additional note about the option to charge the No-Show fee.
- The No Show Fee status is also visible in Reservation Details for each reservation.

💡 Tips & Notes
- Only card-guaranteed reservations that are marked as late cancellations or no-shows can be selected for charging.
- There is no automatic charging; fees must always be charged manually by the restaurant.
- Reservations without card details or with pending KYC cannot be charged.
- For manually created reservations or when editing existing card-guaranteed reservations, always verify whether a card guarantee is still required and valid.
- Check the No-Show Overview regularly to ensure all eligible reservations are reviewed and charged within the allowed time frame.
- Mark reservations as no-show promptly (at least 15 minutes after the reservation start time) to maintain accurate reporting.
- Once the refund functionality becomes available, keep track of all refunded no-show fees for accurate financial records.
