How to change the delivery options with UPS?

To change your delivery address or the day of the delivery, the recipient needs to create an account with UPS in Germany. Please follow the steps below:

Create a UPS Account

  1. Go to UPS Germany's official website
  2. On the homepage, click on the "Log in" button (located in the top-right corner).

  1. Once there, click the "Sign up" button.
  2. Fill in the required details, such as your name, email address, password, phone number, and address (This will be your default address unless you choose to change it later).

  1. After submitting your details, you will receive a confirmation email. Open the email and click on the verification link to complete your account setup.
  2. After email verification, you may be prompted to enter additional details, such as your preferred language, shipping preferences. You can also link your phone number for more convenient tracking and communication. 

Change or add the delivery address

If you want to change the delivery address to your UPS shipment, follow these steps: 

  1. Visit UPS Tracking on the UPS website
  2. Log In to Your UPS Account.
  1. Input your Tracking Number, and click "Track".

  1. On the tracking page, check the status of your shipment. If it is still in transit and eligible for address modification, you will see options to update the delivery information, such as "Change Delivery". Click this option.

  1. UPS will show you the available address options such as "Driver Instructions" for delivery, and "Delivery Changes" to change the delivery information and, if possible, schedule the delivery day.

  1. Enter the new delivery address. Be sure to fill in the correct details, including the street address, city, postal code, and any other required information. 

If necessary, you may be asked to confirm the change and provide a reason for the address change (optional in some cases). 

  1. Once you have entered the new address, confirm the changes. 
  2. The updated delivery address will be used for the remaining transit and delivery process. 

Change the delivery day

If you want to change the delivery address to your UPS shipment, follow these steps: 

  1. Visit UPS Tracking on the UPS website
  2. Log In to Your UPS Account.
  3. Input your Tracking Number, and click "Track".

  1. On the tracking page, check the status of your shipment. If it is still in transit and eligible for address modification, you will see options to update the delivery information, such as "Change Delivery". Click this option.

  1. UPS will show you the available address options such as "Driver Instructions" for delivery, and "Delivery Changes" to change the delivery information and schedule the delivery day. In this case, "Delivery Changes" must be selected to schedule the delivery day.

  1. You'll be able to select a new delivery date from available options. The system will show you dates when your package can be delivered.
If you can't reschedule delivery, you can choose to have the package delivered to a nearby UPS Access Point (a local store or locker) for pickup on your preferred day.
  1. Review the changes, including any additional charges (if applicable), and confirm your new delivery date.
  2. Keep an eye on the tracking information to confirm that the new delivery date has been set successfully.
