How to manage reservations on the table plan?

In this article, we will show you what the table plan in DISH Reservation is able to do and how to manage reservations.

Step-by-step instructions

How to Use the Table Plan in DISH Reservation:

  1. How to Access the Table Plan:

- Click on "Table Plan" on the menu on the left.

  1. How to View Table Overview:

- On table plan, you'll see available tables, arrived guests, and upcoming bookings. This feature is available in DISH Professional Reservation.

  1. How to Spectate Different Dates/Times:

- Click on the time bar.

- Select the desired date and time to view.

- Click Now to return to the current time.

  1. How to View Table and Reservation Details:

- Click on a table icon to see an overview of available and booked tables.

- Click the watch icon to view reservations assigned to tables.

  1. How to Manage Reservations:

- Click on an existing reservation to view or adjust details. This applies to both upcoming and ongoing reservations.

- The reservation information will appear on the left, with options based on the reservation’s status, such as arrived, confirmed and upcoming.

  1. How to Add a New Reservation:

- Select the desired table.

- Click the plus symbol (+) to add a new reservation.

- Enter the required information and click CREATE RESERVATION.

  1. How to Switch Areas:

- Click on the layered symbol to switch between areas.

- Select the desired area by clicking its name.

  1. How to Edit Areas:

- Click on the editing icon to modify an area.

- Click "+ Add tables" to add new tables to this area.

- Enter table details, drag and drop the table to the desired spot, and click SAVE AND BACK.

  1. How to Disable or Remove Tables and Areas:

- To disable an area, set the slider to inactive.

- Click on Delete to remove a table, and confirm by clicking on "Yes, delete".

- To remove an entire area, click DELETE AREA (ensure all tables are removed, and the area is disabled). Confirm by clicking on "Yes, delete".

  1. How to Add New Areas:

- Click on "+ Add areas".

- Enter the new area name and click on SAVE AND BACK after setting up.
