In this article, you will learn all about the Turnover Dashboard, native Gift Card and Closed Orders on DISH POS Insights App

The Turnover Dashboard in DISH POS Insights (DPI) is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of sales performance. This dashboard enables users to monitor revenue trends, analyse key financial metrics, and gain valuable insights into business operations.

Key Features Of The Turnover Dashboard:
  1. Real-Time Sales Monitoring: Track turnover and revenue in real-time.
  2. Historical Data Comparison: Compare sales data over different periods.
  3. Filter Options: Customize views based on time periods, locations, or employee activity.
  4. Exception Indicators: Identify unusual patterns in transactions, such as excessive voided orders or high discount usage.

By using the Turnover Dashboard, businesses can make data-driven decisions to optimize their sales strategy and improve operational efficiency.

Native Gift Cards

DISH POS Insights includes an enhanced functionality for managing Native Gift Cards. This feature allows businesses to track gift card usage seamlessly, ensuring transparency and easy management.

Key Features:
  • Gift Card Activation & Tracking: Easily activate and monitor the balance of gift cards.
  • Redemption History: View detailed reports on how and when gift cards were redeemed.
  • Filtering Options: Search gift card transactions by date, amount, or card number.
  • Fraud Prevention Tools: Identify unusual patterns in gift card usage to prevent misuse.

With Native Gift Cards, businesses can offer flexible payment options to customers while maintaining clear records of transactions.

Viewing Closed Orders

The Closed Orders section in DISH POS Insights replaces the existing Backoffice order overview while providing additional improvements. This feature allows businesses to track completed transactions and detect irregularities that may indicate fraud.

Key Features:
  • Detailed Order History: View closed orders along with transaction details such as items ordered, payment method, and timestamps.
  • Exception Summary: Identify non-standard actions like item deletions after an invoice was printed or multiple invoices issued.
  • Advanced Filtering: Search by order number, amount, table number, employee, or timeframe.
  • Pattern Detection: Detect recurring behaviours that may require further investigation (e.g., repeated voids by the same employee).
How to Access Closed Orders:
  1. Open the DPI App and navigate to the Closed Orders section.
  2. A list of closed orders will be displayed, replacing the previous Backoffice section.
  3. By default, today's closed orders are shown, but users can select a custom time period and apply filters.
  4. To configure this feature, ensure that the FO system is updated to the latest version, enabling DPI API integration with new functionalities.

DISH POS Insights does not flag actions as fraudulent but provides users with the tools to detect patterns and investigate further if needed. Terminology should be neutral.
