How do I install the DISH POS Insights App?

In this article, you will learn how to install the DISH POS Insights App

Download and install the app:

Currently, the app is only available for Android and iOS, and not on a desktop computer.
  1. Visit the App Store that is suitable for your operating system (iOS/Android) and look up the Dish POS Insights app page
  2. Download the app
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app

 

Register your account:

  1. Open the Dish POS Insights app on your device
  1. Follow the in-app prompts to connect Dish POS Insights to your POS system
  1. Choose your country

The app utilizes the credentials you also use for any product on the dish.co website.

  1. Register the app with your Dish account by logging in using your existing credentials.
  1. Fill in the link of your back-office, e.g. Germany.booqcloud.com
  1. Next, log in to your POS System using your POS user pin code.

You are now connected to the DISH POS Insight app.

The permissions
for the users of
your app determine
what they can do
and see,
so make sure
proper permissions
are granted for
seamless integration.

  • When a user is only permitted to view the balance, the "Cash transactions" permission should be set to "With or Without manager code". If set to "non", the balance will not be visible.
  • When a user is permitted to view the balance and the reports, the "Cash transactions" and "Cash transaction report" permissions should be set to "With or Without manager code". If set to "non", both features will not be visible.
  • When a user is permitted to view the dashboard and utilize all functions of the app, the "Cash transactions", "Cash transaction report", and "Turnover category report" permissions should be set to "Without manager code". If set to "with manager code" or "non", some features may be inactive.
