How do I create QR codes for the self-service?

Note: The Self-service status will only be visible if you have purchased this product.

In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create QR codes for the self-service.

Step-by-step instructions

From the DISH POS Backoffice you can generate QR codes which can be used on tables, chairs or other sales points, in combination with DISH POS QR ordering. In addition to generating codes, it is also possible to export a document that can be used to easily generate QR printed materials.

When DISH POS QR-Ordering is activated you see the section Self-service in the menu on the left side. Click on the category QR codes in this menu.

Click Add QR codes in the top right corner to add new codes. Select the correct sales channel, select an entire area, or specific sales points for which the QR codes need to be created, and click on Add QR code button.

You can now select the sales points you want to use for QR printing. Do this by selecting the box in front it and clicking the download button

  • To export the correct file for QR print work, select the option download CSV. The exported document serves as input for your QR printing
  • When you choose the option download PDF, a usable QR code is immediately exported, which can be printed as desired
Attention: An export will only be made of the selected visible items.
Keep in mind, since changes have been made, you must send them to your system by navigating to the general settings.
  1. Go to General
  2. Then navigate to the sub-category General
  3. From there, click on Send to transmit the changes to your system
